At a time when the EU is raising its climate ambitions and promising to reduce its emissions, sport must also jump on the bandwagon and accelerate its ecological transition. How do you prepare for this future with the community houses, ice rinks, outdoor facilities, sports halls, stadiums, swimming pools and more? That’s why we launched the PlayGreen Initiative.
On June 13, 2024 the PlayGreen Summit takes place at the Duurzaamheidsfabriek Dordrecht, The Netherlands.
Experience 50 European companies showcasing their innovative and sustainable approaches for sports facilities. Discover them at the EXPO. An extensive CONFERENCE program brings you the latest insights on sustainability in sports with international speakers. Go to the program below to see who you can meet. During the Summit we launch the PlayGreen eMagazine with extensive profiles, inspiring stories and sustainable thoughts.
This summit is dedicated to representatives of municipalities, national governments, regional governments, sports facilities, stadiums and universities.

BICYCLE: park your bike in front of the Duurzaamheidsfabriek. You can also rent an OV-fiets at Dordrecht Central Station (check availability), and cycle for maximum 10 minutes.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT: buslines 2, 7, 93, 166 and 416 run regularly between Dordrecht Central Station and the Duurzaamheidsfabriek and brings you within 10 minutes to your destination.
CAR: the Duurzaamheidsfabriek has a large parking facility. We suggest you to carpool for a minimised footprint. 😉
